This strategic leadership addition underscores QCP’s focus on expanding its global presence and solidifying its position as a trusted partner in digital asset capital markets.
Andrew brings almost 20 years of experience in traditional finance (TradFi) and digital assets, most recently as a Partner at Bach Option, where he led asset raising, co-investments and business development. With a strong track record in institutional adoption across global financial hubs, Andrew has advised Crypto-native founders, TradFi executives and regulators on blockchain integration.
“I’ve never viewed moving from traditional finance to Digital Assets as changing industries; I see it as the only logical way to stay relevant in finance. Blockchain technology is poised to dramatically reshape the world, and I can’t think of a better firm than QCP to be part of this transformation,” said Andrew Scott. “This new role highlights QCP’s commitment to its clients and its ambition to become the preferred partner for all digital asset wealth needs. I am deeply grateful to Darius and Melvin for their trust and could not be more excited to get started.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Andrew to our leadership team. His extensive experience in both traditional and digital asset markets makes him the ideal person to lead our commercial strategy. As traditional finance begins to recognize cryptocurrency as the next major asset class, Andrew’s leadership will be pivotal in driving our global growth and positioning QCP to deliver world-class solutions to institutional investors,” said Darius Sit, Founder and Chief Investment Officer at QCP.
QCP is positioning itself for significant global growth as the firm continues to innovate and build its capabilities as a leading digital asset wealth partner. Risk Warning on Digital Payment Digital Services
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) requires us to provide this risk warning to you as a customer of a digital payment token (DPT) service provider.
Before you pay your DPT service provider any money or DPT, you should be aware of the following.
Your DPT service provider is an exempt payment services provider pending licensing under the Payment Services Act (2019) to provide DPT services. Please note that this does not mean you will be able to recover all the money or DPTs you paid to your DPT service provider if your DPT service provider’s business fails.
You should not transact in the DPT if you are not familiar with this DPT. This includes how the DPT is created, and how the DPT you intend to transact is transferred or held by your DPT service provider.
You should be aware that the value of DPTs may fluctuate greatly. You should buy DPTs only if you are prepared to accept the risk of losing all of the money you put into such tokens.
You should be aware that your DPT service provider, as part of its licence to provide DPT services, may offer services related to DPTs which are promoted as having a stable value, commonly known as “stablecoin”.
